The New Coffee Collection
As we head into the Christmas season, we have had a chance to take a step back and reevaluate our coffee flavours, do some blind coffee tasting, design some new packaging and work with our roaster to develop three unique House of Glass coffee profiles.
If you have been in the shop this week, you may have noticed some changes on our shelves and chalkboards. It’s time to formally introduce you to our three new roasts, which we are so proud of.
First off, we have ‘The House’, which is what is in our hopper all day, every day, it’s a super fair and drinkable coffee and goes great as a black coffee or with milk. This has a delicious flavour profile of maple syrup, milk chocolate and cherry, originating from Brazil. This coffee is a people pleaser.
Secondly, we have our premium, ‘Ritual’. This has a richer, more complex flavour profile than our house. With flavours of dark chocolate, nougat and dried fruits, this roast is a real winter warmer and is a great choice for your cosy coffee shop stop.
Finally, we have our feature, ‘Citrus Ember’. This winter special is perfect for carrying us through those cosy winter months. With a flavour profile of sweet honey and orange to warm you up and let your imagination run, it feels like you’re drinking your favourite fireside treat.
Your New House
We are shining a light on our new house coffee this week. It is a roast we are genuinely proud of. After sampling a lineup of new beans and spending time with our local roaster exploring how the roasting process changes the flavour in its own way, we finally landed on what has become both a team and customer favourite.
With bold milk chocolate and maple syrup notes and a subtle hint of cherry, The House is the kind of coffee you reach for all day, every day. Smooth, comforting and incredibly drinkable, it has quickly become the heartbeat of our coffee.
