Right in the heart of Newquay a stones throw away from multiple famous surfing beaches, we've created something special. A surf concept store and coffee shop that feels like your mate's really cool living room (if your mate had impeccable taste and made killer coffee).
The Vibe
Think French Basque meets Cornish coastline. We're talking hand-shaped surfboards, proper French pastries, and that perfect post-surf coffee that hits just right. It's where locals hang out and visitors stumble upon something they didn't know they were looking for. More than just a surf or coffee shop - our Newquay concept store is where surf culture meets curated design. We stock carefully selected surf essentials, every piece tells a story of quality and purpose from coastline to city.
What We're About
Zedsleds Surfboards
Hand-crafted by Kourosh in Mawgan Porth with 15 years of experience, these boards know UK waves like the back of their... fins? From classic longboards to progressive shortboards. Let's face it, Cornish surf is well... Cornish! So we make sure we shape with foam in exactly the right places. Looking for something for overseas travel? Order a custom and we'll shave off some foam.
House of Glass
We serve coffee that tells stories and pastries that make the French proud. Our beans come from Oliver at The Roasting Room - ethically sourced, locally roasted, seriously good. The pastries? Ben and Sam from Choukette learned their craft in France. As French natives they moved over the Channel and now own the only authentic French bakery in Cornwall. That's commitment to a croissant.
The Team
Our crew live and breathe this stuff. Whether they've just rolled in from a dawny or are eyeing up the afternoon session, they're the kind of people who make great coffee, and even better conversation. Friendly doesn't begin to cover it, they're the reason people end up staying way longer than they planned.
